Thank you to all members who participated in the voting process and elected a group of women who support national defense from a diverse field of backgrounds, including military service, government consulting, civilian, commercial, and large and small business. They bring an array of educational degrees and professional backgrounds to form a unique perspective of capabilities. The sum of their skillsets creates a powerful entity focused on supporting the members of WID San Diego.
“Women in Defense connects individuals who care about our country and are working to keep it safe. It’s a forum where we can share our stories so that we can learn from, support, and inspire each other,” says President Lisa Hunter. “I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to work with the board of directors to advance the WID mission and serve our members.”
Together, the board is dedicated to helping WID San Diego become an even more dynamic, effective organization by providing value to its membership through educational programs, professional networking opportunities, awards, and scholarships.
